I am very proud of this mandolin which I have made. It sounds and plays great, straight from its completion. There are good strong bass and mid tones. The trebles are clear and they balance and project well.
I put a lot of attention and work into the staining of my mandolins. I aim for a natural look, so they are distinct from other mandolins.
This mandolin has a Red Spruce top and a Big Leaved Maple Back, Grover 309 tuners, Allen tailpiece, Cumberland Acoustics bridge, and a 1 1/8" (28.6 mm) unbleached bone nut.
